Calendar House, Falkirk

"Situated amidst magnificent park and woodland, Calendar House tells stories spanning 600 years of Scottish history" says the website for Calendar House within the Falkirk Council web pages.

I was here today, to eat haggis and neeps and listen to a talk by local historian, Ian Scott, about the life of Robert Burns. Ian had his guitar with him and, as well as reciting "To a Mouse" and "A Man's a Man for a' That", he sang some of the songs of Burns, concluding with "Auld Lang Syne" to the original tune that Burns set it to.
