Must try harder....

A Drier Day...

After yesterday's washout, today was, although still drizzly, a darn sight better weather-wise.

Very busy today with work stuff and have only just finished for the day. However I did manage to have a couple of short breaks and during my lunch break I snuck out into the garden to take a shot of the one thing flowering at this time of year.

This shrub is something that t'other half bought some years ago with the express aim of having something flowering in the dull months of the year. The result is this very fragrant Viburnum which is covered (not densely) in wonderful flowers dusted with a subtle pink hue. They smell really fragrant (some say like peaches) and really help to brighten up a small part of the garden before the spring bulbs and the Forsythia come to life.
