Petrified Forest National Park

"They say it's your birthday! duh nuh nuh nuhnah!"

So, today actually was my birthday, and I spent it driving through some very beautiful although desolate areas of Arizona. The Petrified Forest National Park provided many opportunities for amazing landscapes and panoramic photos.

No, this is not the most barren place that I've ever been in the US. That dubious award goes to Us Hwy 140 between Adel, OR and Denio Junction, NV. Look up the satellite images sometime..see if you see any cars on the road.. (I'm not saying they aren't there, but there aren't very many, and there are no rest stops, no gas stations, no scenic pull-offs. Nothing but you and the asphalt.)
