Wetland landscape at Carr Vale reserve

Between the two main lakes at the reserve, this is the view from one of the observation points for birdwatchers. It is a Derbyshire Wildlife Trust site, and features in most of the walks and a good number of the blips so far.

My niece is finally home after invasive tests in Sheffield yesterday. A biopsy is being sent off for analysis..... She is still in some pain and discomfort at home.
