Good Luck Ross and Sally

I had planned a slow run up Blencathra this evening to do some more long exposures in the dark. I had imagined a really good blip for my 300th.
But that was before we we had presented Ross with his leaving presents - a painting of Blencathra, a painting of some of Penrith's landmarks and some chocolates.

Ross is leaving to go and set up home in New Zealand with his Kiwi girlfriend Sally and seeing him get presented with his gifts was quite touching.

He's not a bad lad for a lancs lad I wish him and Sally all the very best for the future.
