The People's Kitchen

I witnessed an interesting incident in a different supermarket this evening. As I was going into a Tesco Express, the manager stopped someone leaving, and gave him a little push. He was basically accusing the man of being a persistent shoplifter, and although he hadn't apparently stolen anything this time, his behaviour was a bit dodgy, allegedly. Three shop assistants wrestled him to the ground quite violently and he got loudly agitated, as you'd expect. Both the man and the manager called the police... I think the guy has the law on his side. It didn't seem like he'd actually stolen anything this time (who's to say if he'd ever stolen before), although the manager insisted he was 'banned' from the shop, and the staff had been quite rough in manhandling him.

Caused quite a commotion, and I got out of the shop just before two police cars pulled up with lights and sirens.
