The Yellow Arrow

Recycling

I found this book in the recycling bin outside my building a couple of weeks ago. Initially I had left it there, since it felt like it belonged to someone else, or better said, that it's previous owner had the right to determine the book's destiny. But after talking to a friend about it, I was convinced that books simply don't belong in the trash. So I went back and picked it up. I don't like collections of things I must do before I die, but I like that this was written not by one person, but by a large group of academics whose bios feature in the beginning of the book, so there's diversity of styles and the reader gets an idea of where their perspectives come from.
