Moving Day

Exciting day today. My friends moved their three stunning horses in to our barn. Only for February to give the field a rest (this horrid mild wet weather isn't doing anyone any favours). I of course am delighted to have more equine lodgers. Gruff-farmer-hubby started off hating horses and we're gradually winning him round. He now adores Bob-the-cob and is entertaining the idea of more horses as a long term thing.

I went to see the arrival of Harvey, Tommy & Holly with camera in hand ready for amazing shots of the chestnuts meeting their cattle neighbours with shafts of sunlight streaming in...blah...blah but I was side-tracked by watching these beautiful beasts taking in their surroundings. Holly spotted the deep straw bed and went straight in for a role. That's got to be a sign that she's happy with her new home.
