Tea Party

There was a leftover piece of Martha Washington's Gingerbread Cake after our American Revolution class on Wednesday. I couldn't resist setting up a little tea party of my own this morning.

The china is part of a set from Bavaria that Aunt Florence brought home from a trip to Germany in 1936 (the year I was born). The mark on the bottom of the plates says Arzberg Baviara with a shield that says PA. Each piece has an individual number. The silver is Towle Candelight a part of our wedding sterling set.

I suppose that the Colonists would have selected Earl Gray tea, but I had to make do with Constant Comment.
