Polluted Stream

Took this while out walking the pup. I feel low when I look at this stream. This runs through our neighborhood and out to the intracoastal and I suppose also out into the ocean. What is truly amazing is all the life that manages to still live there. The variety of plants and creatures are overwhelming considering the space limits.

A few large planter trays of fresh water in the yard goes a long way. The critters enoy the water. I really enjoy seeing the critters. I'd just love it though if the water that flowed naturally here was healthier.
