Flag

Last Thursday I spotted a whole load of little flags strung up between five trees up near the castle at Farnham. I managed to get some nice shots of the sun through them and the wind fluttering them. I was quite pleased with them. of course, that was Australia Day and I'd already blipped. I could only hope the flags would remain until today. And they did!

Sadly, there was no sun but the wind made them flutter nicely. I have no idea what they're about but they each have the same thing printed on them and they're in different colours. As you can see, the material is very thin. I think the writing is Hindi. Maybe some blipper knows the what and the why.
