Another Languedoc year...

Home grown

....and all alone. For the first time since the beginning of December we find ourselves alone. Ali's lovely sis is on a plane winging her way home to Australia after a great stay.

Today we've cleaned the house, walked dogs, shopped, gathered wood and we're about to have supper. It's a very simple menu tonight. Sausages from the village butcher, spinach, potatoes, broccoli and cauliflower grown in our garden. Even the bowl in the photo was made in the village.

The good news is that Mum's treasured folding walking stick/seat, that was lost, has turned up. She was most distressed to think this useful item had gone walkabout after 17 years of careful and frequent use. Where? Not in the shops as she had thought, but next to her washing machine. Of course.

All shall be well and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.
