Red hot chillies

I need to 'fess up today and admit that I didn't complete the 5K Parkrun that I said I was aiming to do earlier in the month. However, I do have a genuine excuse. I strained my achillies tendon whilst out running last week and it really hasn't recovered enough to run today. Honest! Truth be told, it has been so sore that I've hardly been able to walk.... Alright, I'm pushing it now. Hoping to be back in training next week and aiming now for end of February 5K.

These chillies have sprouted since the plant - which belongs to second born beautiful boy, he of South Africa fame - has been rehoused here. Spicy hot and fresh for the picking - they'll add that extra piquancy to tomorrow's curry.
