slip sliding away

Sunny day, snow on the fells, five excited kids, BIG PLANS - all thwarted by this black ice here which stopped us getting up this lane. Forced us to turn around (not before a mass evacuation by all except the driver as the van slipped slide ways down the road which towers above a gorge!) and saw us settle for a walk along the side of a fell instead.

Going to try again tomorrow!
