First snowdrops (Galanthus nivalis)

Fetching the morning papers, there was a suggestion of an interesting sunrise but it never really developed (maybe I was too late). Walking back along an alleyway I saw these snowdrops.

A bit of gardening required, contractors had recently trimmed back the trees and shrubs in the area, wanted to get low to show them off to their best.
