big bondi skies

i constantly find myself in and around bondi beach looking up at the sky and thinking WOW, it's BIG.

there's something about the huge array of clouds and general scale of the land versus the sky, which often creates this effect. i'm still to have my camera in hand during a spectacular red sunset, but i'll get there one day! i've generally enjoyed them from in the water so i shall not complain.

morning surf, followed by a wander around the bondi markets. lots of tempting bits and pieces as ever. some time lying in the sun in our hammock, reading and finishing a book..before some sunday chores and cooking dinner.

took megs out this evening before the sun set and sat with her on the rocks at north bondi. this is where i took this shot.

just waiting for M to come home from his seventh consecutive day at work and long shift. eyes on the Aussie Open tennis while blipping!

(must back blip for yesterday, but i suspect i might be in trouble as i'm still to change the date on my slr from uk to aussie time...)
