Arrived back in the country at 4.40am, effectively missing my birthday as we crossed the date line, left San Francisco at 7pm on the 25th. Yay, I stay the same age this year.

Then on a plane back to Christchurch, arriving a little after 8am, picked up by the family. Great to see them, and to see home. Weirdly tho, and you can just see snow on the hills, in January. I just left the snow. And it's cold!

The rest of the day was spent unpacking, playing with the kids, chill-laxing. And then early to bed.
