Flutterby

There are so many butterflies out at the moment. It was heaven to walk amongst them in the nature reserve at lunchtime, especially as our air-con was broken for most of the day and it was far too hot in the office. It's working now, thank goodness.

I've just looked up this butterfly - it's a gatekeeper or hedge brown. I've never heard of this one before! If I hadn't taken a picture of it, I would never have been able to remember the patterns and thus identify it. Yay for blip!
