End of the line

A real moment in time as the old Railway Bridge down Whistley close to Devizes where I live is being taken down for safety reasons. The railway was built 1857 & closed 1966 the line has been unused since then

. Interesting fact there was even a railway stop at Sells Green, Seend 5 miles out of Devizes. So sad no station in Devizes and I can remember when it was up and running and was there when the tracks were taken up and the train driver gave me a ride.. happy days *smile*
