Terry and my amaryllis....

Later this evening....i was sitting listening to Terry playing the guitar and saw this image....i like it better so am changing it from the Singing Bowl.

Once again i am left with either a snowy blip of around here or downtown Baddeck! Not too inspiring i have to say! So i am happy to contribute to the february challenge described here!

We've already had about 4 cm of snow, and the forcast is calling for another 10-12 cm.....it's just so grey and monotone out there! but i did get my 45 minute swim in at the luxurious pool, warm atmosphere, warm water and the silky smooth feeling of gliding thro water! i love it....i guess it's the closest i'll ever come to feeling like i'm flying! to float, suspended in the water, is to totally surrender to the elements around me.....just wonderful!

then a chat with Laverne in the library, picked up the book i'd placed a hold on, only to get it home and find out i've already listened to this book on cd...no wonder the title sounded familiar when my friend suggested i get it.....dah! well, i think i'll try reading it, cos i know i loved listening to it, and i can't really remember all that happened, in fact - i can barely remember what it was about! sometimes when i'm listening to a book on cd or tape, while i work, i guess i sort of zone out in parts.....pretty scary really!
