To See New Englandly

In Like a Lamb

Oh wait. That's supposed to be next month. Our bizarre winter continues. Several people commented today that it felt like spring. And indeed, at 58F/14C, it felt like it.

Last year at this time we had nearly 40 inches/100 cm of snow -- much of it still on the ground. Now, the only sign that it's winter is the thinning layer of ice on the ponds. It was an unusually mild evening, so my daughter and I got out the telescope out and saw Jupiter and four of its moons. It was pretty awesome. (And I mean that in the "awe inspiring" way.)
