Lucky...

Today was just another Monday.
Go to the office... attend hand over meeting... lunch... travel to meeting for weekend work... then leave to go home. Nice day but just ordinary.
Until traveling north on the M6 from Spaghetti Junction I started to follow, in lane 3, another white MX5 like the one i was driving. Thought this is novel, but still just an ordinary day.
Then, in lane 2 appears a blue MX5. This is a little bit more unusual and as i was about 10 feet behind just about to pass, a lorry in lane 1 decides he would now like to be in lane 2 and duly moves over. In doing so he catches the back of the Blue MX pushing it towards lane 3.... my lane... but as i took avoiding action and in the bat of an eye the little blue MX ended up being pushed sideways infront of the lorry.
As both drivers were now saying their prayers (and braking very hard) i just managed to shoot passed them to what now seemed like an empty road with my heart racing away...
So now i begin to think maybe this is a lucky day after all because ordinary is sometimes better than exciting.... as i am sure the driver of the blue MX would agree.
PS, from what i could see in the mirror no one was injured.
