Light

This is the view from my front door towards the wonderful Orion, complete with the light that is reflected up from the town towards the sky.

Now, don't get me wrong, I understand the need for streetlights; I don't have that much of a problem with them being on. BUT, I do think there are ways that the light can be directed downwards towards the street rather that upwards to the sky.

I also - and I know that this is liable to be a touchy subject - think that we don't necessarily need all the lights on all night. maybe turn some of them off during the dead of night.

Then, I would get to see the wonderfulness that is Orion, without the red glow that comes from the town!
