Rain stopped play

A wet day in the middle of summer throws out a lot of pre arranged plans.

I had arranged to have a game of tennis this morning with a friend on one of our 22 grass tennis courts.

An unseasonal thunder storm had hit our coast and the grass courts were closed for the morning. Usually we can get a game on one of our 12 hard courts. But alas...these were too wet to play on.

The end result was that I took the opportunity to take a few photos, hoping one could be today's blip, we then headed off for a morning coffee on the beach some 100 metres away.
