.....or is it the first train of the day.

The last train of the day from London Euston to Glasgow Central, becomes the first arrival of the following day at Glasgow Central.

Just qualifying as a blip for the 3rd, 28 seconds into the day, taken on the cold concourse whilst waiting for the train to arrive.

Contrast this with "A rather early train" taken at the other end of the operating day at Glasgow Central.
