Rainy day project

I had made up my mind today was the day I was going to get baking!

The cakes are now done, they aren't perfect to look at, but they taste good (as independently verified by Lyall). The mess made in the process was something else. At one stage I looked up and there was icing sugar up the wall, the scales had fallen on the floor and I was covered in flour. Carnage. But worth it :-)

I'm now sitting waiting on Lyall making tea, he's making his excellent steak tonight and I'm hungry thinking about it. Hurry up GG!!! :-) xx
