Early

Today I had to take Amy to a 'come dressed as princess birthday party' in a local church hall (I say local it's over 1.8 miles away). Amy doesn't do princesses, if it had been 'a come dressed as a halloween cat party' we would have been all over it, so we improvised with some black leggings and a neon pink tutu as you do in such situations.

We got there a little early so decided to have a look round the church and the churchyard. This generated many questions about death and what happens after.

Amy: What do people look like when they're dead?
Me: The same as they do when they're alive, only deader.

Amy: Why do we bury dead people?
Me: Because they would start to smell if we didn't.

After the party the snow had started to fall so we met Mr PeeO on his way home from work and went to the only place people eat pizza with a knife and fork, Pizza Hut.

Well, we have to at least seem civillised.
