This is fettes collage in EDINBURGH. It was paid for in 1870 by Sir DAVID BRICE.
He was twice LORD PROVIST [In ENGLAND LORD MAYOR] who lost his son in 1815.The collage was originally for orphans and sons of the needy parents. It was
designed by DAVID BRICE. The school quickly gained a reputation for academic and sporting excellence under the headmaster Doc POTTS,into what it is to day.It is now one of the top independent schools for boarding and day pupils. The closest I got to going to it ,was when I delivered morning papers to one of its doors.
TONY BLAIR a labour prime minister went to this collage.
The two mounted police are abiut to turn to the left into the EDINBURGH police
head quarters. They are about to take all the police horses to glasgow, under new working methods. They have had horses here for 130 years.
