Ice skaters

As always when there's enough ice, it gets really busy at the floodplains between the dikes and the river Rhine. The local skating club shovelled the snow away to create a loop, it's fun to watch all the people, ranging from semi-professionals with state of the art gear, to little children practicing on their own little loop.
I made a stitch that shows a bit more of the skating here, it was meant for blipfoto.com but proved to be too small.
