Burns Supper

After the rugby (boo - it was Scotland's game!) we were off to the annual 62nd Aberdeen Scout Group's Burns Supper.

We were treated to the usual high stand of fayre - top notch haggis, neeps & tatties and homemade puddings - and excellent speeches rounded off with some community singing. This year the singing included both traditional and modern Scots songs - bit of Rabbie, Proclaimers & Deacon Blue all mixed in.

The highlight was definitely a recitation of 'Tam O'Shanter' - learning that is no mean feat and delivering it with such gusto is a talent.
