More Reeds?

I hink I may have blipped something similar a few months ago. Maybe not. I'm not sure.

Anyway, reeds at a local loch, colour-enhanced in GIMP as usual.

AJTaylor today and others previously have shown an interest in how I produce these distinctly coloured images.

The software used was the free GNU Image Manipulation Program called GIMP 2.6.11

For them, I have outlined the main steps involved. I have posted them on my Flickr photostream. Start with the original image (A) here.

Then move to the other component images:
Colour enhanced blur (B).
Edge enhancement with 'photocopy' (C).
Combining the layers.
Crops and tweaks.
