Actually survived last night. Went to bed just after 12pm and was awake at least another hour listening to the cars coming and going. The kids enjoyed the party and a few of them slept over.

One of the guys reversed into our gate pillar, quite a bit of damage to his car and of course the electronic gate does not close properly anymore :( - Mr Snippets made a temperory plan until we have time to fix it properly.

Today Mr Snippets decided to experiment in the kitchen. Every now and then he will try a new recipe. I like to cook and bake with him - not so eager when I'm on my own :)

He made buttermilk rusks, Olive oil & Herbs de Provence Bread and Leek Vinaigrette. Phew, that was a mouth full! The last to recipies he got from "French food at Home" website after watching host Laura Calder from Canada on the Food Network.
