Off to sea

Late this afternoon I walked down to Cottesloe Beach for a swim before dinner.

The surf crews were again out in force, training for the Surf Carnival to be held in the next few weeks.

This lone lifesaver was heading to his surf boat with two oars in readiness for the evenings row which would take them backwards and forwards from North Cottesloe to Cottesloe two or three times.

I again looked on, had a quick swim and headed back home for a quick gin and tonic before dinner.
