Transition

Since I'm studying Marine Biology, I have a fascination with the coastline and the communities it holds.

A recent field trip to Cramond taught us about different seaweed species, and how quickly their habitat changes up the shoreline.

I spotted this Transition when on the beach at Barns's Ness, Dunbar.

This is the transition from Pelvetia canaliculata to Fucus spiralis, not displayed very well, but you get the idea...
