Ain't no stopping me!

Well there is now.

There's been an annoying grinding noise coming from the brakes of my car for the last few days, and finally today I got a chance to look into it. Here's what I found. The pads on the right are those that came off the car. I've put the pads on the left to show what they really should look like.

I think that those pads had been on the car since it was built, 78k and 8 years ago by the looks of them.
