Greenfinch

One of three stunning male Greenfinches which came to visit the feeder. To get this shot I actually had to hide behind the washing which was on the line and poke the camera lens through a gap so they couldn't see me.

Because I was standing still for a few minutes, behind me on the seat and the log Chaffinches, Blackbirds, Collared Doves and a Woodpigeon began feasting on the seeds thinking I wasn't there. Unfortunately once I'd got my Greenfinch shot and moved they all took off as one!

Got the phone call to go into work this afternoon hence the early blip.
