Rising fuel cosumption

The Dealership tells me its down to the cold weather that is causing my increased fuel consumption, to be honest the Engineer,s explination sounds reasonable basing it on the 'old choke system' from years ago, The injectors are staying open longer as more fuel is delivered to the engine in response to the cold conditions. With rising temperatures the consumption should decrease as less fuel is required.

Will keep an eye on things, if they dont improve may have to get the Bike out.
