Ovingham Bridge

This is the Ovingham bridge, and believe it or not it is the main road bridge that crosses the river Tyne between Prudhoe and Ovingham - if you want to get to the A69 quickly from Prudhoe you have to cross it.

It's a 'who gets there first situation' regarding who can cross which is always fun when you get there at the same time as a car on the other side. We are all assured it's structually sound, but looking at the rust and foundations I'm not completely convinced...

I'll happily drive across it these days, but avoided it for months (travelling miles out of my way) when I first moved here.
