Disappearing ...

Temperature was a bit rising today. The blanket of snow is disappearing inch by inch. I had a day behind my desk, researching documents and writing concepts. My picture is the result of a walk during a break in the late afternoon. My eye was drawn by the long lines of the huge stairs and the change of the the shadow into light and vice versa.

Netherlands is under the spell of the Elfstedentocht, a skating of about 125 miles along eleven cities in the province of Friesland. Tonight we expect the decision on GO / NO GO. But the hope for a GO is slightly disappearing.

The weather forecast is not positive in favor of a GO. Jack Frost is about to depart for the entrance of (Joe?) the Thaw ... ;)
