Yes. Yes. YES!

Perfect day. Perfect blue. Perfect light. Perfect outing for the wide angle lens. I always seem to take photographs with the wide angle lens on cloudless days... but with that incredible light, windswept cloud at the top, it gives this photo depth, rather then a flat blue sky.

This is Yellend. Once a massive Coal power station stood on the site, demolished in 1984 ...

What's left

Last building standing

Last lamp post intact, the rest dropped

It is now part of a RSPB nature reserve. The most famous visitors being half a dozen or so spoonbill - they weren't there today alas, although they "were there yesterday" according to one chap with frankly the LARGEST camera & lens I have EVER seen!

It's quite beautiful - the landscape (geez, not the lens...lol)

The mudflats with the rolling hills of North Devon behind (the little brown bumps are teal (ducks)

Rusty abandoned ship

Or I'll just carried away linking *more* photos & will never finish typing this description!

Cold bright Larry

I hope everyone has had this wonderful sunshine. Freezing though. But I love the cold when it's like this! Makes me feel alive! :) xxx
