Dreich days and rainbow railings

Well the weather's been vile, hasn't it? The walk to school turned into pure slapstick due to the fact that the bridge across the metro line was covered on sheet ice. It took five minutes to cross when normally it would take about 40 seconds. One child commented on how weird it was to see adults falling over... luckily no injuries were sustained. Eventually one of the local residents came out with a bucket and gritted the damn thing so the walk back wasn't so ridiculous.

One bit of sunshine came from an internal Arts Council report for a project I was involved in last year - lots of positive comments about my spoken word piece, so I'm happy about that :-)

Anyway, I guess the cold, wet day and the report based sunshine must've had something to do with this rainbow... or something.
