Flight of the Bumblebee

After 18 months of owning my camera and trying to get a focussed capture of a bumblebee in flight I finally did it - trouble is that I did it three times and I couldn't choose between them.

Thank goodness for the 'cheat' of a triptych.

I like the way the one on the right shows him dropping his landing gear and it looks like his saddlebags of pollen are dragging him down.

It has been a seriously long working week (even though Monday was a public holiday here), so I'm feeling pretty shattered. The first 'full' week back is always like this. Must be time for a relax and 'read' in my lazyboy - with my eyes shut.
