Preparation

I find it amazing that in my 40+ years I have never been for a long ride on a motorcycle. That will change tomorrow.

I am going to ride my bike to Kens place at Stanthorpe for an overnighter. 250km from door to door. Some people mightn't think it is a long way but for me it will be something different and a lot of fun.

Tonight I packed my gear and gave the chain a lube. I was a bit surprised at how little I need to take with me, considering that when I take the car, it is full of stuff.

The one thing I will have to be mindful of: The fuel tank is quite small. I will be stopping a few times on the way.
