Swimming Against The Tide

Transistors & Resistors

And a variety of other bits and pieces!

Today was another day of the fairly busy variety. I worked hard in the morning, getting going on my OU work, and printing off assignment booklets, sorting out files and so on. I also loaded up the very last bit of clothes horse space, so the next washing will take place when there is something dry enough to put away!

Then I set off to Scharwenka's, pausing briefly in town to post some bills, pick up a prescription from the doctor's, and get a new packet of rat treats for the men.

Scharwenka and I had a very nice lunch of Chinese bits and pieces (including duck pancakes with hoi sin sauce - yummy) and talked a lot about car batteries, charging, and so on (we REALLY know how to live). I thought a photo of just SOME of the very large number of little drawers that he keeps in his work room might make a nice blip!

Half way through the afternoon Mrs Scharwenka got home from College, where she'd been at a "spouse's lunch", and had consumed a certain quantity of alcoholic beverage. She was therefore amusingly inebriated, which was very entertaining! ;-)

The Wonderspouse came to meet me after work and we came home and spent the evening wondering what would happen with the weather the next day. Snow would be so much more useful if it booked itself into the diary several months ahead so things could be arranged around its troublesome activities and we wouldn't have to worry about driving in it, getting stuck in it, and so on!
