It's NOT Rocket Science!

Mixed feelings about today which was spent at sea.
It was called 'Sportds Day' and all the sporting activities on board staged their final challenges. There was a basketball play off, rock climbing competition, crazy golf tournament, roller skating challenge, table tennis final, and to crown it all, passengers made donations and were invited to take part in, a one mile walk around the running track in aid of the' Make A wish Foundation' which R.C. have already contributed over $5m to.They were actually playing host on this particular cruise, to a fourteen year old girl recovering from cancer and her family. She was there to thank all the participants personally for their support.
We had our own personal challenges that day.The menfolk had a few games of table tennis,Leo won hands down at Crazy golf, Fraz donned a pair of roller skating boots and looked the height of fashion in his under the knee shorts and big black boots!A hard thing for him to do, when he was accompanied by Leo's friend from Sweden, who is one of the professional skaters on board and who had just participated in the Scandinavian version of Dancing on Ice!Go Fraz!
It was time for the highlight of Fraz's first cruise---lunch at Johnny Rockets. He had saved the best 'til last. The drink kept on flowing and the food kept on coming. The more often we emptied the plates, the more often they were refilled. We weren't disappointed because the servers performed their usual dancing extravaganza just before we left, so Fraz didn't feel cheated.
Time to pack and have our first afternoon nap of the holiday, before heading out to an early Farewell show starring the most talented juggler/comedien, then on to our final dinner ,where Fraz was delighted to have his lobster prepared in front of him.
To wind everything up, a spectacular parade was staged in main Street, called' Island Frenzy.'We saw stilt walkers, huge dragons, ribbon twirling, dancing girls, bands playing, singing, inflatable palm tree bursting open, and to wind up a fantastic parade and the holiday of a lifetime, balloons and streamers were dropped from above and strewn all around.Fiesta time had nothing on this. R.C. crew certainly signed off on a high note!
