Cool as a mountain stream!

We spotted these cows enjoying a refreshing drink this morning as we were walking Chloe by the River Caldew in Dalston!

The River Caldew begins it's life high up on the slopes of Skiddaw, so today it is full of melted snow...Tasty!

The sun did manage a brief appearance today, but there was still a sneaky cold wind!
