Interesting news on the BBC Radio 4 this morning.

An English woman suffered from flu and lost her speech. Eventually her speech returned but since then she's been speaking with the French accent. She has never been to France and never spoke French. Apparently that's called the Foreign Accent Syndrome, there are only 60 people world-wide who suffer from it.

???

I was going to say that I've been "suffering" from the eastern european accent for the last 7 years but that's ok. It doesn't hurt and it adds to the character.

Until I did a bit of a research and found out that this is not a joke but a serious condition. These patients do sound like foreigners.

Nothing to do with the bush cat on the picture...
