The Mind of a Child

My Mum and Dad took our next door neighbour's daughter to school today. She is only 3 1/2.

She went hopping and skipping along the path, yelled "Good Morning" to the lollipop man and then picked up these three leaves up and asked my Mum if she could give them to me when I got home from work.

I'm not sure what I am supposed to do with them but I thought it was such a lovely thing for her to do. I have put them in a plastic wallet and placed them in the study because she is the type of child who will want to see them at a later date.

I dont know what she must have been thinking but I'd love to have the mind of a child again and be young and carefree.
