Leaves

It can be difficult taking different photos each day when I spend most of my daylight hours on the beach playing volleyball. I try to get out and see things, but the lure of the beach is strong. That was the case today when I noticed these luminescent leaves next to our patio. Their color caught my eye originally, but the juxtaposition of their forms is what ultimately caused me to choose them as today's entry. I'm certain I will be photographing them many more times now that I have discovered them, especially those times when I spend all day at the beach and are forced to find a suitable photo subject under pressure.
