Chocolate odds and ends

I'm off to a friend's birthday party tomorrow - high tea and croquet don't you know - and have decided to bake her a cake.

I found a chocolate and ginger recipe from that ol' jailbird Martha Stewart on the net so I'm hoping it'll turn out okay.

This shot is of some bits and bobs of chocolate that have been lurking in the kitchen cupboard. I'm planning to make a chocolate glaze with them to drizzle over the cake. If all goes well I'll post a pic of the cake tomorrow.
